HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. - The Saginaw Valley
State University men’s basketball team lost to Northern
Kentucky University today (Nov. 24) 76-44.
The Cardinals were led on offense by freshman guard Greg Foster
(Indianapolis, Ind./T.C. Howe HS) who sank 13 points on 4-12
shooting from the floor, including one three-pointer, and grabbed
three rebounds in 35 minutes. Senior guard Lawrence Ross (Battle
Creek, Mich./University of Miami Ohio) added five points in 23
minutes on the night.
The Cardinals fall to 0-2 on the season, and will return to action
Dec. 4 as SVSU travels to Findlay, Ohio, to take on the Oilers in
their first GLIAC match-up of the season.
