Bozeman suits up for Melbourne United in overtime victory over Team China

MELBOURNE, Australia - Former SVSU Men's Basketball student-athlete Damon Bozeman suited up for the Melbourne United basketball team on Sunday, as the team defeated the Chinese National Team by a score of 104-94 in overtime in front of 6,888 fans.

Bozeman got the start for the Australia National Basketball League (NBL) team, playing 24 minutes in his first game with the squad. Damon played just over 24 minutes, scoring nine points with with three assists, three steals and a block. 

It was the first audition for Bozeman for Melbourne United, as he is slated to play in the team's preseason games as well in hopes of earning a spot on the team.
