EAST LANSING, Mich. - The svsu cross country teams traveled to take part in the Spartan Invitational on Friday (Sep. 16), which was hosted by Michigan State University. In a highly-competitive meet, the Cardinals posted some solid times in an event with over 563 student-athletes in each race.
Tristan Fackelman was the top scorer for SVSU in 19th, running to a mark of 25:31. Joey Southgate was 23rd after carding a time of 25:33, Eddie Komph finished 30th and Nate Frasier finished in 35th place with his showing of 25:48.
Allison Dorr posted the top time once again for the women. She finished in 20th place with a mark of 22:12. Sophia Bradley was next, posting a time of 23:33 to place 73rd. Domonique Adams finished 79th with a showing of 23:38. Alicia Tomlin ran to a time of 23:42 and Christina Micale rounded-out the top-five with her time of 23:48.
Saginaw Valley continues on the road on October 1, as the Cardinals travel to the Greater Louisville Open, hosted by the University of Louisville.
