Brandon Williams (Flint, Mich./Kearsley HS), a senior defensive end for the SVSU Football team, was a major force on the line as the Cardinal defense stifled the Ashland attack on national television, 27-6. Williams recorded 12 tackles, including two tackles for loss and a forced fumble in the victory for the Cardinals. Brandon leads the team in tackles for loss (10) and sixth in total tackles (42). The victory improves Saginaw Valley to 5-2 on the season as they travel to Detroit to battle No. 17 Wayne State on Saturday.
