Alycia Wright (Macomb, Mich./Lutheran North HS), a senior on the SVSU Women's Track & Field team, is off to a quick start in the indoor track and field season. Wright led the Lady Cardinals with a 2:15.89 time in the 800-meter run at the SVSU 'Doug Hansen Open', good for first place and earning a NCAA Division II National Provisional Qualifying mark.

Wright is coming off a historic season with the SVSU Women's Cross Country team as they finished 13th at the NCAA Division II National Championships in Spokane, Washington.
