Brian Bott (Buckley, Mich./Kingsley HS), a senior thrower on the SVSU men's track & field team, led the Cardinals at the CSLA Twilight Open in Los Angeles, Calif. on Apr. 19.

Bott competed in the hammer throw and earned a NCAA DII Provisional Qualifying mark of 58.62 meters, good for a first place finish and 16th in the nation.

Bott competed in the hammer throw competition at the prestigious Mt. SAC Relays in Waltnut, Calif. and earned a third place finish in his heat and a 21st place finish overall with a toss of 55.51 meters.
