Annie Buxton (Aurora, Ont./Aurora SS), a senior outside hitter for the SVSU women's volleyball team, came up with an impressive performance in the thrilling five-set victory over Grand Valley State last Wednesday. Buxton lead the Cardinals with 24 kills on 55 total attacks including 14 digs in the victory over the Lakers. Annie also recorded a combined 22 kills in road victories against Tiffin and Ohio Dominican over the weekend. Buxton now sits fourth in all-time kills in SVSU Volleyball history. The Cardinals have won five straight matches and are currently ranked seventh in the latest AFCA Regional Rankings.
