Chris Webb (Saginaw, Mich./Arthur Hill HS), a junior guard on the SVSU men's basketball team, was chosen as GLIAC North "Player of the Week" on Nov. 21 as he led the Cardinals in scoring in both games of the weekend Coaches vs. Cancer Classic hosted by Wisconsin-Parkside.

Webb tallied 19 points in the 83-68 loss to Wisconsin-Parkside on Friday and posted 22 points in the 85-75 victory over Minnesota Duluth on Saturday. He currently leads SVSU with his 18.8 points per game average through five games this season. He is shooting 45.6 percent (26-57) from the field and 87.5 percent (35-40) from the charity stripe.

Chris also recorded 19 points in back-to-back games at home against Miami (Ohio) on Monday (Nov. 21) and Cedarville (Nov. 26).

The Cardinals open their conference schedule at home on Thursday (Dec. 1) as they will host Lake Superior State University for an 8:00 PM tip.
