Chris Webb (Saginaw, Mich./Arthur Hill HS), a junior guard on the SVSU men's basketball team, posted 28 points in a thrilling overtime loss to Northwood University on Wednesday (Feb. 8), 106-99.
Webb recorded his second highest single-game total with 28 points on 11-of-19 shooting from the floor. Webb surpassed the 900-point mark in his career as a Cardinal. Chris leads SVSU in scoring and ranks 10th in the GLIAC in scoring (14.6), 13th in free throw percentage (80.6) and 5th in minutes (33.4).
The Cardinals will battle Northwood on Wednesday (Feb. 8) in the second leg of the home-and-home series before returning home for the home finale on Saturday against Hillsdale at 7:00 pm.
