Natalie Wellman (Fairhaven, Mich./Anchor Bay HS), a senior outfielder on the SVSU softball team, went 9-for-19 on the GLIAC opening road trip to Ohio. Wellman's weekend was highlighted by going 3-for-4 against Ashland, including her second home run of the season.

Wellman helped the Cardinals sweep their doubleheader against Lake Erie on Mar. 23 with a 2-for-3 performance, which included a double, two runs and two RBI.

Natalie is currently second on the team in average at .317 with a .467 slugging percentage.
