Alycia Wright (Macomb, Mich./Lutheran North HS), a senior on the SVSU Women's Track & Field team, once again set a new school record in the 1,500 meter-run at the Mt. SAC Relays in Walnut, Calif.

On day one, Wright crossed the line in the 1,500-meter run at 4:26.27, which is a NCAA Division II Automatic Qualifying time.

Alycia also competed in day two of the competition. Wright competed in the 800-meter run and clocked in with a final time of 2:14.66 which was good for an 11th place finish in her heat and a 70th place finish overall.
