Jordan Kalk - Men's Soccer
Jordan Kalk (Richmond Hill, Ont. / Bill Crothers Secondary School) helped lead the No. 23 ranked Cardinals to a win on Friday's game against the Findlay Oilers, scoring two of the goals in Saginaw Valley's 5-1 victory. Men's soccer also came out on top at Sunday's game against Tiffin, winning 4-1.
The Cardinals will take their 7-1 record to Lake Erie this Friday (October 2) at 7pm and Ohio Dominican on Sunday (October 4) at 2pm.
Brooke Tiller - Volleyball
Brooke Tiller (Maumee, Ohio / Maumee HS) led Saginaw Valley in digs in both matches played last weekend, helping the Cardinals to two victories. On Friday's match at Tiffin University, Tiller made 14 digs. On Saturday at Ohio Dominican she led both teams with 37 digs, also contributing eight assists, two service aces and one kill.
Saginaw Valley will play their first three home matches in the Cardinal Gym this week, first hosting Wayne State this Tuesday, September 29. They will go on to play Walsh on Friday, October 2 at 7pm, and Malone on Saturday, October 3 at 2pm.
