C.J. Turnage (Ypsilanti, Mich. / Milan HS) scored a career high 31 points and led the Cardinals in the GLIAC Quarterfinals last Tuesday, March 1 against Walsh. Turnage also posted five rebounds, two assists and a pair of steals. Saginaw Valley will be back in action at the NCAA Division II Midwest Regional Quarterfinals, hosted by Wisconsin-Parkside on Saturday, March 12. The Cardinals are seeded at No. 5 and will be taking on No. 4 seed, Lewis.

She also posted eight rebounds and a block. SVSU women's basketball travels to Ashland to face off against Bellarmine on Friday, March 11 in the NCAA Division II Midwest Regional Quarterfinals. Bellarmine is seeded No. 3 and SVSU is No. 6.
