2008: Was third on the team in tackles with 34 unassisted and 28 assisted tackles, totaling 62 for the season...recorded a team-high seven pass break-ups...also had two interceptions for a total of 41 return yards...forced two fumbles on the season, one each against Grand Valley (Sept. 13) and Ferris State (Nov. 8). 

2007: Redshirted. 

Prior to SVSU/Personal: Prepped at Harper Woods Notre Dame and Detroit Denby High School...named All-City as a senior...a member of the National Honor Society and an honor roll student...majoring in Accounting...son of Jeffrey and Michelle Downs...born 11-14-89.
