UNIVERSITY CENTER, Mich. - The Saginaw Valley State University men's basketball team announced its 2012-13 recruiting class, which is compiled of two individuals who will be contributors on the Cardinal Basketball squad for years to come.

Stone Beckwith – 6'2, Beal City Public HS, Mt. Pleasant, Mich. – Guard   

Prior to SVSU/Personal:  Prepped at Beal City Public High School…received varsity letters in basketball, football, and track…selected first team all-conference and was named to the MVP team in basketball his freshman, sophomore and junior seasons…earned honorable mention All-State his sophomore year and second team All-State his junior year…named team captain for football and basketball his senior year…member of the honor roll…major is currently undecided…son of Sandi and Dan Beckwith…born 8/12/93.

Brady Watson – 6'7, Heritage High School, Saginaw, Mich. – Forward

Prior to SVSU/Personal: Prepped at Heritage High School under coach John Wilson…led team to a runner-up finish in the Saginaw Valley League in 2010-11…received honorable mention all-conference…named team captain his senior season…member of the honor roll…will major in Occupational Therapy…son of Cindy and Mike Watson…born 7/28/1993.
