BAY CITY, Mich. - Three Saginaw Valley State University men's basketball student-athletes have been selected as members of the 2015-16 Men's Basketball All-GLIAC teams after voting conducted by the league's head coaches. Senior guard Damon Bozeman and junior forward C.J. Turnage were named to the All-GLIAC First Team while junior guard Garrett Hall earned Second Team All-GLIAC honors. Bozeman was named to the league's all-defensive team as well for this season.

It's the second straight year Turnage has earned first-team honors while Bozeman and Hall were both named to the second-team in 2014-15. Turnage earned Freshman of the Year honors during the 2013-14 campaign.

Turnage averaged a team-best 16.5 ppg and tied for the highest rebounding average at 5.4 rpg.  His 55.4% field goal percentage ranked him 11th in the GLIAC while his scoring average was ninth.

Bozeman was second on the team with a 15.0 ppg scoring average and matched Turnage's 5.4 rpg average. He also led the Cardinals and ranked 10th in the league in steals per game at 1.4.

Hall was third on the team in both points per game and three-point percentage with 11.7 ppg and 36.7%, respectively. He was second for the Cardinals in free throw percentage, shooting 78.0% from the charity stripe.

Saginaw Valley State was second in the GLIAC in total free throws with a total of 458 and third in scoring with a 79.8 average. The Cards are third in rebounds per contest at 38 rpg and second in steals per game at 7.8.

All three of these players surpassed the 1,000-point mark for their careers during this season, one in which the Cardinals claimed their first GLIAC title since the 1984-85 season and first back-to-back 20-win seasons since the 84-85 and 85-86 campaigns.

The Cardinals enter the 2016 GLIAC Tournament as the no. 1 seed and host no. 8 seed Walsh University on Tuesday at 8:00 p.m. at the James E. O'Neill Jr. Arena. Click here for ticket pricing information.
