COLUMBUS, Ind. - The Saginaw Valley State University men's golf team sits in a tie for third place after one round of play at the University of Wisconsin-Parkside Invitational. The Event is being played at the Otter Creek Golf Course in Columbus, Ind.
The Cardinals shot a 298 and are tied with Grand Valley State University. Indianapolis leads with a 296 and Parkside is second with a score of 297.
Wyatt Drost shot a two-under 70 for the second consecutive round to lead SV on the day. He is tied for the lead with Wayne State's Austin Hill. Micah Skidmore and Adam Hansen each had scores of 75. Eric Gandy (78) and Carter Marsh (79) also competed for Saginaw Valley.
Playing as individuals, Mitch Sikorski and Chris Weir had scores of 77 and 82, respectively.
Saginaw Valley will be playing in the final pairings on Monday (Mar. 31).
