FINDLAY, Ohio - The Saginaw Valley State
University men’s soccer team dropped a 3-2 Great Lakes
Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) match up with Findlay
today (Sept. 20).
The Cardinals fell into a 3-0 hole, before Kevin Fox (Flushing,
Mich. / Flushing HS) was able to find the back of the net in the
55th minute to cut the Oiler advantage to 3-1. Fox would add
another goal just five minutes later when Todd Rosenhagen
(Mattawan, Mich. / Garden City CC) hit him on a breakaway to give
the Cardinals its second and final goal of the afternoon.
With the loss the Cardinals fall to 1-5-2 overall on the season
and 0-2-1 in the GLIAC, while Findlay improves to 3-4 overall on
the season and 2-1 in the GLIAC. The Cardinals will return to the
field next Sunday (Sept. 27) when they host Ashland University.
