UNIVERSITY CENTER, Mich. - The Saginaw Valley State University men's soccer team is currently ranked third in the Midwest region and 22nd nationally in the latest National Soccer Coaches Association of America rankings.
This is the first time in school history that the men's soccer program has earned a national ranking.
"The rankings are nice, but we are focused on taking one practice, one game and one day at a time," said head coach Cale Wasserman.
The Cardinals continue their march towards a GLIAC title when they host the Tiffin Dragons on Thursday for a 4:00 pm match.
