Prior to SVSU/Personal:  Prepped at Grandville High School before spending two years at Lansing Community College...in high school earned four varsity letters in softball and one in basketball...named honorable mention all-conference her sophomore and junior years...selected team captain and earned first team all-conference her senior season at Grandville...her freshman year at LCC was named second team All-American NJCAA, second team All-American MCCAA, and all-region...also named to the MCCAA Western all-freshman team and the MCCAA Western first team all-conference as well as being named Miss Offense in her freshman campaign...in her sophomore season at LCC was selected to the second team All-American NJCAA as well as the all-region team...named MCCAA player of the year, MCCAA Western Conference first team, and Miss offense in her second year at LCC...a part of the MCCAA all-academic team and was an NJCAA exemplary academic All-American...made the Dean's List for two years at LCC and the Honor Roll for 4 years in high school...majoring in Exercise Science...daughter of Nick and Sarah Wood...born 4/3/1993.
