2012-13: Competed in 20 games for the Cardinals and started nine...tied for the team-best with a 1.2 assist-to-turnover ratio on the year...shot 100 percent from the free throw line on the season...averaged 1.2 points, 1.4 rebounds and 1.4 assists in 18 minutes per game during her freshman campaign...scored a season-high 4 points against Armstrong (Dec. 30), Malone (Dec. 15) and Ohio Dominican (Nov. 29).

Prior to SVSU/Personal: Alex was a two time captain of the East Lansing High School basketball team.  During her four year varsity career the team won four conference, four district, four regional and one Class A state championship, and went undefeated in conference action. She captured All State recognition, was a member of the CAAC Dream Team and set a record drawing 93 charges in her high school career.  A member of the National Honor Society, she was CAAC All Area Academic four years and finished her high school experience with a 4.0 grade point average. She is majoring in communication with a double minor in marketing and management and is the daughter of Michael Green and Kathy Larkey-Green.
