University Center, MI - Saginaw Valley State Women's Basketball has announced its summer camp lineup, which will consist of two different camps.
Shooting & Offensive Moves Camp – May 4, 11, 18 (click here for brochure)
The camp runs three consecutive Sundays in May from 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm each session. It is open to girls grades 7-12. The camp is designed to help players take their offensive game to the next level. Focus will be on shooting techniques, ball-handling, passing, 1-on-1 moves, using screens and becoming a more confident scorer. The cost is $100; includes a camp shirt and other giveaways.
Elite Camp – June 14-15 (click here for brochure)
This camp is designed for high school players (grades 9-12) that want to be more competitive on their school/AAU team and get a glimpse of what it takes to play at the collegiate level. Drills will go above and beyond the usual individual skill camp drills. Drills include 5-on-5, 1-on-1 and 3-on-3 play, as well as strength and skill stations. The cost is $150 for overnight, $125 for commuters with meals, $100 for commuters without meals.
