SKILLMAN, N.J. - The Saginaw Valley State University women's tennis team is currently ranked 9th in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Midwest Regional Rankings.
The Lady Cardinals appear at the #9 spot as one the GLIAC schools that account for seven of the 10 spots. It's the second time in the past two seasons the Cards have been ranked inside of the ITA Midwest Region's top-10 and the second under Head Coach Jenn Boehm.
SVSU opened the spring portion of its 2014-15 season with a 7-2 victory over Aquinas College on Friday, February 20th in Grand Rapids, Michigan. The Lady Cards continue with a spring trip to Orlando, Florida from March 2-5, beginning with a match versus Cedarville on the 2nd at 11:30 am.
