INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - The Saginaw Valley State University volleyball team has earned the number three seed in the NCAA Division II Midwest Regional Tournament.  The Cardinals (21-9) will open play against Grand Valley State University (16-12), who earned the sixth seed in the region, on Thursday, November 19 at noon.  The Cardinals and Lakers have split the season series so far in 2009.

The 2009 NCAA Division II Midwest Regional Tournament will be hosted at the University of Indianapolis from November 19-21.  Indy earned the top seed after beating previous one seed Lewis University in the championship match of the Great Lakes Valley Conference Tournament.
