UNIVERSITY CENTER, Mich. - The Saginaw Valley
State University Department of Athletics is set to host its final
community youth day event of the 2010-11 season on Saturday,
January 22nd
The event is a Soccer Clinic. The clinic will be from 11:30
am-12:30 pm, and is being held in conjunction with the Cardinals'
basketball doubleheader against Lake Erie College, beginning at
1:00 pm. The event is open to all Girls and Boys in the Great
Lakes Bay Region who are in the grades K-8. The first 100
kids will receive a free bicycle helmet and custom fitting
following the clinic AND "2" bicycles will be given away, as well
as a family package of ski/snowboarding helmets (limit 6 helmets
per family).
* All Clinics are FREE!!
* Clinics are conducted by SVSU coaching staff
and student athletes at SVSU's Ryder Center.
* Clinic participants will receive free
admission to the game that follows the clinic, a coupon for a free
hot dog and pop at the concession stand, a free T-shirt and
potential halftime performances. Parent(s) accompanying
clinic participants will also receive complimentary admission to
the game following the clinics.
* T-shirts can be worn into Graff Chevrolet of
Bay City for a free oil change.
* College scholarships, a karaoke machine,
bicycles and bicycle helmets are also given away after all

SVSU Cardinal Kids Club members will receive fast tracked
registration at the event and a photo with the Cardinal mascot and
athletes at all Community Youth Days. For more information on
