Prospective Student-Athletes:

If you are a prospective-student athlete who will be
participating in a tryout on the SVSU campus, there are some things
you will need to know.
- You are permitted to attend only one tryout at SVSU
- Only high school seniors who are in a term other than the term
that your high school season occurs or who have exhausted your high
school eligibility can participate in the tryout.
- If you are a two-year college student, you can tryout once your
season has ended or once you have exhausted your two-year college
eligibility.
- If you are a four-year college student, you can tryout at the
end of your season, provided we have been granted permission to
contact you.
- You will be required to complete the following two forms prior
to participation in a tryout.

Enrolled Student-Athletes:

If you are a currently enrolled student-athlete who will be
participating in a tryout on the SVSU campus, there are some things
you will need to know.
- You are permitted to attend only one tryout per sport in any
academic year.
- You must not have been recruited by SVSU (NCAA Bylaw
13.02.10.1)
- You must be in good academic standing
- You must be enrolled in 12 credit hours
- You will be required to complete the following two forms prior
to participation in a tryout.
