BAY CITY, Mich. - Two Saginaw Valley State University men's basketball players have earned All-Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) honors for their performance during the 2010-11 season. Junior guard Greg Foster (Indianapolis, Ind./TC Howe HS) was selected to the GLIAC North Division All-Conference First Team while sophomore guard Chris Webb (Saginaw, Mich./Arthur Hill HS) was named to the GLIAC North Division All-Defensive Team.
Foster, despite missing the first 10 games of the season due to injury, returned to average a team-high 16.3 points per game as well as pulling-down 5.5 rebounds per game, which ranked second on the squad. He was also second on the team with 72 assists.
Webb, the 2009-10 GLIAC "Freshman of the Year", averaged 10.9 points per contest while leading the team in minutes played and posting 26 steals and 53 assists.
