UNIVERSITY CENTER, Mich. - The Saginaw Valley State University men's basketball program announced the addition of Damon Bozeman for the 2012-13 season today (June 29).
Bozeman, a 6'3'' guard, was a four-year varsity letter-winner and a three-year all-league selection at Madison Heights Madison where he averaged 31.5 points, 11 rebounds and four assists in his final season. During the 2011-12 season, he eclipsed the 1,500 career point plateau and was named first team All-State Detroit Free Press and News. He was also named to the Oakland County Dream Team.
"Damon's statistics speak for themselves, but what we are most excited about is his team first attitude and eagerness to be the best he can be. Damon's competitiveness will lift our team both in practice and games," stated Head Coach Randy Baruth.
During his four seasons at Madison, Bozeman helped lead his team to a District Championship and a 70-14 overall record.
