UNIVERSITY CENTER, Mich. - The Saginaw Valley State University Men's Basketball Team will hold open tryouts on Wednesday, September 12, 2012 from 6:00am-7:00am. Tryouts will take place in the Ryder Center Main Arena on SVSU's campus.

Interested participants must be full-time SVSU students (currently taking at least 12 credit hours) and be in good academic standing. In addition, those interested need to have a completed health physical within the last six months.

Paperwork from the health physical, a Tryout Waiver Form and an Athlete Medical History Form must all be submitted to the Men's Basketball Office by 5:00pm on Tuesday, September 11, 2012. If documentation is missing, interested participants will NOT be allowed to attend the tryout. The Tryout Waiver Form and Athlete Medical History Form can be found by following the link below:
